Zilien is a Mauritian multidisciplinary artist based in Mauritius and born July 1995. Zilien's work explores dreams, fragments of memory and subconscious. Educated in MGI School of Fine arts of Mauritius for a Degree and a Master in the Beaux-Arts de Marseille from France. He participated in numerous exhibitions from Mauritius, South Africa and France.

He paints oneiric spaces infused with echoes of childhood juxtaposed between reality and imagination. These worlds are inhabited by symbols which narrates stories, lucid dreams and feelings through a Mauritian scene.

Through them, he questions silent, subconscious divergences and the power of dream. I believe that the dream realm and the physical world are no longer a duality, they are the same consciousness operates in different body.
